Well Done Colin Kaepernick!

I was beyond excited to hear that Colin Kaepernick donated a million dollars for a number of oppressed communities. Colin is an excellent example of someone who is using his privilege to speak out and fight against the injustices affecting our communities. For those of you who don't know, Colin Kaepernick is an American football quarterback who protested against racial injustice by kneeling during the American national anthem. His actions inspired many other athletes to kneel in solidarity with him.

Unfortunately, the 'powers that be' were angered by Colin's protests as they felt it was disrespectful. Many people believe that his protests are the reason why he hasn't been hired by a team since becoming a free agent. Despite the uncertainty of his football career, Colin has chosen to keep being a voice for the voiceless as he continues to use his platform to help to uplift our communities.
